Nehemiah

Hola.
So, today I was reading Nehemiah and I had an epiphany. (I think that's what it's called....I don't know...just listen :D)
So, Nehemiah was a cupbearer to the king, and heard that the walls of Jerusalem had been burned and torn down. So, he asked the king to send him to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls. Then, when he got there, many people are listed as helping rebuild the walls.
You may think "mmhmmmm....He went to rebuild walls. Great."
WELL, if you think about it in 21st Century terms, you can go help rebuild the walls of a family, company or church among other things. The really cool thing is, the writer (God through Nehemiah) made sure to include the names of all of those who worked to rebuild it. This shows me that God sees us as we rebuild his kingdom here on earth, and He wants us to know that He recognizes it.
