Well, here at home...about 4 hours inland from where Ike is expected to hit in a couple hours, it is bright and sunny. Everyone around here is preparing for the worst! Schools were let out two hours early or even canceled!
All the bottled water is gone..the meat, milk and bread, too! Gas stations have lines of people who are sure they are going to be homebound by a little rain and wind..:)
